After living in Armenia for 11 years, I moved to the United States in 1996 and quickly realized there were Armenian in Southern California from all walks of lives. It became noticeable that Armenians from different national origins had tension amongst each other and I really wished that there would be a way that we could end all of that uniting as one to help our motherland and to push for the Armenian dream. That is when I found Alpha Epsilon Omega. Joining this Fraternity has been one of the best decisions I have made as a college student, I am proud to call myself an Armenian. This great brotherhood has given me the opportunity to work with Armenians from all walks of lives putting aside our national origins, political affiliation, and social standing in hopes of a better future for our posterity and for our homeland Armenia. |

I was born on July 15 1987 in Yerevan, Armenia. My family moved to the U.S in 1995 where I attended Webster Elementary, and graduated from John Marshall high school in 2005. I heard about Alpha Epsilon Omega through my brother Hrayr who had rushed a year before me. Not knowing to much about the fraternity I decided to rush during my first semester of my freshman. I loved everything that this fraternity was about and stood for. Much of my life I really haven't done my share in helping the Armenian community, but now I can. I am glad that I have joined this fraternity. Not only have I had the chance to become friends with these gentleman of Alpha Epsilon Omega but have gained brothers. With the help of each other we will continue to grow and prosper, and togethor help out the Armenian community which is very important to us. |

I was born on November 15, 1987 in Yerevan, Armenia. At the age of three, my family moved to Moscow, Russia where I lived nine years of my life. Even though I went to a Russian school and was surrounded by Russians, I never forgot my language, history or culture. In the year of 2000 my family moved to Glendale, where I attended Toll Middle School and graduated from Clark Magnet High School in 2005. I learned about Alpha Epsilon Omega through Armen Oganesian, who was pledging for AEO at the time. I decided that joining AEO would be a great opportunity for me to get involved with the Armenian community, make a difference and add on to my college experience |

I was born on February 20, 1987 in Yerevan, Armenia. After living there for thirteen years, my family moved to Burbank in 2000. I attended John Muir Middle School and graduated from Burbank High School in 2005. I learned about Alpha Epsilon Omega through Hakop Sinoryan, Armen Oganesian and Sevag Apkarian at my orientation day. I joined AEO because I saw an opportunity to give back to my community, especially for helping to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Also meet different kind of people who share the Armenian Dream. |

Brother of the Alpha Epsilon Omega Fraternity, Avo M. Terzian pledged in the Fall semester of 2002. Avo, born and raised in Glendale, graduated from Clark Magnet High School with Emphasis on Science and Technology. Avo was very involved with their US F.I.R.S.T. Robotics team, thus leading him to his employment at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). At JPL Avo worked on the impact to egress team of the Mars Exploration Rovers, while attending California State University of Northridge. Regardless of being mechanical engineer major, Avo also enjoys to be outdoors, taking photographs, and writing in his spare time. Avo joined the fraternity because he thought he was lacking involvement in the Armenian community and thought this would be his means of obtaining that connection. Since joining the fraternity he has gained a connection with other fellow Armenian men that have the same ideology; to progress awareness of the Armenian language, history, and culture, and to help further the Armenian cause. |

I was born on March 11, 1981 in Iran, Tehran. I left Iran when I was 5 years old and traveled to Germany. I resided in Germany for about 1 year and went to kindergarten. I left Germany and came to the United States, specifically Glendale California. I have been in Glendale ever since. I graduated Glendale High School in 1999 and started Glendale Community College. I took my precious time at Glendale Community College and transferred out to CSUN in the spring of 2003. I decided to come to CSUN because I was a business major and I wanted to attend one of the top business schools. I pledged for Alpha Epsilon Omega my first semester at CSUN. I decided to join because of what the fraternity stood for. I met a group of very dedicated people who were here to get things accomplished and have fun at the same time. I also joined because I wanted to stay involved in the Armenian Community. I learned that Alpha Epsilon Omega was a perfect outlet for accomplishing all my goals while I was in college like: being involved in the Armenian Community, excelling in my academics, meeting new people, and enjoying the college experience. I am the former Alpha Chapter President and I have held other positions such as Intramurals Representative, Social Chair, Secretary, and Armenian Fraternity Sorority Council President. |

Hi, my name is Vahe Issai. I was born in Glendale, California and i have been living there all my life. Since the ages 4 to 14 i was schooled in the Armenian education system. There i learned how to read and write in Armenian and have kept those skills with me ever since. Before embarking on to Bellarmine-Jefferson High School i was fortunate enough to be apart of the first 8th grade trip to Armenia. After highschool i decided to continue my higher education at CSUN. Since the 8th grade i had no further expectations in involving myself in Armenian organizations. That all changed when i heard about the "Armenian Fraternity" my first day at orientation. I decided to keep an open mind and after meeting most of the brothers and feeling a sense of comfort around them i decided to pledge, and the rest is history. I have held many positions since my first semester as a brother, Intramurals representative, Senator, and Social Director. I will continue giving as much as i can to this fraternity because it has given me so much in the last two years. |

My name is Julian Garsdean and I'm almost a junior at Cal State Northridge. Majoring in Psychology, with a minor in philosophy, I have hopes to attend medical school, and become a psychiatrist. I joined the fraternity my first semester at CSUN, and I must say, it has really made my college years very memorable; by joining the fraternity, I didn't only gain friends, I gained brothers. The fraternity not only introduced me to a brotherhood like no other, but it introduced me to the importance of great academics, and high expectations for achievement. In an attempt to give back to the fraternity, I have held several positions such as Social Chair, Rush Master, Vice President, and Philanthropy Chair. I hope to see the fraternity grow further than it already has, and unite individuals all over the world; setting aside race and political affiliation. Any brother will tell you, Alpha Epsilon Omega doesn't stand as a social club; it represents us, a group of individuals, as a family of one. |

I was born in Santa Barbara and grew up in Camarillo far away from any Armenians my age. I joined the fraternity because it was a positive way to give back to my community, learn about my culture in new ways, and meet an assortment of individuals from all walks of life who have good goals in mind. I am a philosophy major here at CSUN and plan on attending law school in the near future. |

I was born in Armenia and traveled to America much like everyone else looking for a better life. This was in 1989. Like most Armenian-Americans we are faced with the possibility that we will become fully assimilated into American culture and forget who we are and where we come from. At a point in my life I became fully detached from the things that made me Armenian. This was even after attending Arshag Dickranian Armenian School for 6 years. Upon attending CSUN, I was ready to fully deny my heritage and totally immerse myself into the assimilated American culture - until I met some of the guys from this fraternity. They were all just like me, nothing like what I would have expected to see from a group of men devoted to the Armenian cause. I joined because I wanted to get back in touch with who I was and my culture. Through Alpha Epsilon Omega, I was able to do exactly that. |

Marcus Garsdean is a student at California State University, Northridge. He was born and raised in Burbank, California. Marcus is currently a double major at California State University, Northridge. He is majoring in Management and Marketing. He will be graduating in spring of two thousand and five. After graduation, he intends in continuing his educational goals and pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and/or Organizational Development. Marcus Garsdean joined Alpha Epsilon Omega in spring of two thousand and four. Marcus is a firm believer in the values and ideals which have been established by the Alpha Epsilon Omega Fraternity. Marcus believes in unity on a global scale not just within cultures.
Marcus once said, ?I have observed and experienced multiple cultures and the barriers established to separate them. We will not be able to see peace and tranquility among people unless we come to an understanding that we are all one, under the eyes of god the almighty. Once we have been able to establish this frame-of-mind, the barriers separating us on regional, national, and global scale will be lifted and then we will be able to see unity in its purest state. |

I was born in Yerevan, Armenia and lived there till the age of nine. In September of 1990, with the Soviet Union on the verge of collapse, my family immigrated to the United States in search of a brighter future. Within two years I had become accustomed to and began to except the American culture as my own, but never to part from my identity. A desire to serve the Armenian Nation was rooted in me at a young age by my parents and my teachers from the Armenian Saturday school I attended. Embarking on a voyage to Armenia in 1999, through a High School foreign exchange program, I along with two of my closest friends, Antranik and Misak, had a life changing experience. This experience coupled with the passion for our heritage and our beliefs in unity and everlasting brotherhood lead to the founding of Alpha Epsilon Omega. After High School I began attending California Sate University, Northridge majoring in Accountancy. Offices I have held for the Alpha Chapter are President, Treasurer, Historian, Pledge Master. I am currently the Vice President for the Alpha Chapter. I also served on the Board of Directors as the Financial Director of the Alpha Epsilon Omega Fraternity, 12/2000-7/2005. I am a proud brother of Alpha Epsilon Omega, and I am honored to be in the ranks of a select few. |
